NJ's top rising star program!  This is the most complete skill development program for 2nd grade boys in NJ.  The program emphasizes basketball fundamentals, skill development, and building a basketball IQ.  The program will begin in the fall of 2011 with skills and basketball IQ training.  
The Central Jersey Hawks will be selecting 25 second graders to work on skill development and fundamentals this winter. The group will be trained by a variety of skills trainers including Micah Lancaster, Bryce Stanhope, Justin Chiera, and Nick Dipillo. They will compete in intrasquad mini-tourneys.   In late February, a group will be chosen to create the Central Jersey Hawks Blue team which will compete against the top 2nd grade teams in the region and nation. A second group will be formed to compete in local tournaments and/or leagues. 
This program has produced 2 consecutive years of 3rd grade NJ state AAU champions. The 2012 3rd grade group may be the best yet as they seek a third consecutive title.
