All youth basketball players are invited to try out and be evaluated for the Winter 2011-2012 basketball season.

The Monroe Sports Center coaching staff will attempt to place every player at the Tryout/Evaluation Day onto a MSC Hawks AAU team.

MSC Hawks: The MSC Hawks is a developmental AAU program that will play in the MJBL as well as 1 weekend tournament. MSC Hawks will practice once a week during the season. Each new player will receive an MSC Hawks reversible jersey and shorts. Players must be selected to play on MSC Hawks teams and the teams will be coached by experienced basketball coaches (not parents). Once a player is selected to a MSC Hawks team, that player can continue to renew their spot on the team each season. It is our goal to keep teams together for years so they can grow and improve as a team. The MSC coaches will attempt to evenly distribute the talent across all teams within each age group, but due to the fact that certain teams will have more returning players, not all MSC Hawks teams in each age group are guaranteed to be at the same level.

Winter MSC Hawks players do NOT need to try out again.

In order to accept your selection at Tryouts/Evaluation Day, you must register and pay in full before you leave.
