Friday, August 24th - 9am-noon or 1pm-4pm

Shooting instructors in America are a dime a dozen and that is why many American’s are such poor shooters! Shot technique is way over-taught by “coaches” who are way “under-qualified!” They’ve made the art of shooting far too complicated without an understanding of how each player’s body type changes the mechanics of their shot. They’ve created thinkers, instead of shooters! This clinic will give freedom back to the player and make them a great shooter in the process!!!

Most players don’t need to change their shot. They just need to tweak a few small details.  Micah Lancaster’s One-Day Shooting Clinic emphasizes the importance of proper shot technique but without going overboard. The truth is many players in today’s game are great shooters despite “bad mechanics. Considering that what might work for some doesn’t always work for everybody, this one-day shooting camp focuses on both shooting mechanics and “game repetition.”

True Game Repetition

Repetition and practice are two common terms associated with the development of great shooters.  And of course, most coaches continually tell their players the need to practice game shots from game spots at game speed.

Here is the problem. Many players don't know what game shots are. They don't know what game spots look like, and they don't know what game speed should feel like. Even then, an important detail also goes unpracticed. Shooters also need to practice shots from game angles!  They need to train themselves to shoot game like shots from every possible angle they will see in the game. The Micah Lancaster One-Day Shooting Clinic will prepare players to take the right amount of shots with the right kind of repetition.

Universal Mechanics

While it’s true that even bad form can eventually bring great results with the right kind of repetition, it’s important to understand that sound mechanics make the great results easier to come by. Still, the truth is that great shooting mechanics are easier to come by then most coaches are able to teach today’s players.
