Monroe Sports Center is proud to welcome Kathleen Stefanelli and her elite Jersey Intensity Field Hockey program.  Jersey Intensity Field Hockey is regularly a National powerhouse and consistently produces college level players.  Please visit their website for more information  http://intensityfieldhockey.com/

The following clinics and leagues will be held at Monroe Sports Center:

I.  JERSEY INTENSITY ELITE TRAVEL CLUB INDOOR TRIALS

WHEN:
Sunday December 5th
Under-12/14's -3:00 - 5: 00 PM
Under-16's - 5:00- 7:00 PM    
Under-19's - 7:00- 9:00 PM

AGE GROUPS:
U19, U16, U14, U12 Indoor
Age as of Jan. 1, 2011
Example for U-19 must be 18 or younger on Jan. 1, 2011; U-16 must be 15 or younger on Jan.1, 2011 and U-14 must be 13 or younger on 1/1/11

II.     2011 HIGH SCHOOL INDOOR LEAGUE

WHEN:   
Games start week of Jan. 3 and run through week of Feb. 21.  Game times are Monday Evenings 6:00 to 7:00pm; 7-8:00pm; 9:00 to 10:00pm;  45 minute games

FEE:
$1250.00 per team.  The team captain or coach must complete team roster form and mail a $200 deposit to guarantee spot in league.  

LEAGUE SET-UP:                              
* 5 Field Players Plus Goalie (10 recommended on a roster)
* National Indoor Rules will apply (see www.usfieldhockey.com for more information on the indoor game) - side boards will be used
* True indoor face paced game helps fine tune skills in the off-season
* Games played on Monday evenings
* Game times are 8-9:00 PM; 9:00-10:00 PM; 45 min. games
* Officials and uniform shirts provided and paid for by Jersey Intensity Field Hockey

Bring: Stick, Mouth Guard, Shun-Guards, Sneakers & Water bottle


III. Indoor Skills Clinic at Monroe Sports Center

WHEN:
Session 1: Tuesdays, Jan. 4, 11, 25,
Session 2: Tuesdays, February 1, 8, 15 

AGE GROUPS:
Grades 5th-8th ; Grades 9th-12th - 6:00 -8:00 PM
Open to 2010 graduating seniors.  (FIELD PLAYERS only).

FEE:
$185 per session

INDOOR CLINIC FEATURES:
* Small player to coach ratio to maximize attention and development!!
* Separate groups and curriculum for Grammar School and High School Aged Athletes.  ALL PLAYERS WILL BE CHALLENGED.
* Run by Jersey Intensity Elite Championship Club Coaches.
* ALL areas of proper Skill and Tactical development to be covered.
* Attention will be spent on fine details of skill development.
* Clinics held on smooth surfaces to develop faster stick skills.
* Small games at end of each session.
