Maryann Howes

Maryann has worked as a professional in health and fitness for over 18 years.  Her range of certification and experience help meet the diverse needs of her clients.  Instruction in strength training, aerobic conditioning, cycling and nutrition can be tailored to the seasoned athlete or the on-the-go mom.  Her dedication to fitness has also led to certifications in Pilates Mat and Reformer for clients wanting to explore a work out beyond traditional weights and machines.

Shakira Morgan

Shakira is a Certified Group Fitness Instructor with the Aerobics & Fitness Association of America (AFAA), a Certified Zumba® and Zumbtomic® Instructor and is also a Certified Nutrition Advisor through FiTour®. She is a proud member of the Zumba® Instructor Network (ZIN) and IDEA Health & Fitness Association. Shakira holds a BA in Communications from Rowan University and also a certificate from Sanford Brown Institute for Advanced Massage Therapy. 

Her massage licensure from the state of New Jersey is pending. Her Kickboxing certification is also pending through AFAA.
 

Dania Aguero

Dania has been practicing Yoga for 5 years and has been teaching for 3.  She earned her certificate at Yogi Hari's Ashram in Miramar, FL.  In addition to Yoga, Dania has a certification in Zumba which she earned in January 2009 at a convention with Beto Perez, the founder of Zumba. She recently moved to New Jersey from Miami, FL where she was teaching at several locations including Crunch Fitness.  Her goal is to make exercising fun and bring a little health into people's lives.

Ali Ryan

Ali Ryan lives in Freehold Township with her husband and two children; Ellary, age 4 and Reilly, age 6. She holds a graduate level teaching degree and a Masters Degree in Instructional Technology. She has worked with young children for almost 20 years, 7 of those years as an elementary school teacher. Ali has spent the past 2 years working at the YMCA of Freehold teaching Mommy & Me classes and preschool gym classes. She loves to be active to keep up with her children and her very energetic labradors!  

 

Kriss DiBella

Kriss is from Toms River and has always enjoyed fitness as well as dancing. After taking a Zumba class a little over 2 years ago, she saw such positive results in mind, body, and spirit that she decided to become certified to teach both Zumba and Zumba Gold. 

Kriss is currently certified by the American Red Cross in both CPR and AED and a current member of ZIN (Zumba Instructor Network) and IDEA Fitness. 
 

John Quinn

John is Certified as a Personal Trainer and Aerobics Instructor for Kickboxing and Group Exercise. He is certified by the International Fitness Association (IFA) and the American Sports & Fitness Association (ASFA). His certifications are nationally and internationally recognized in many countries worldwide. He is certified by the American Red Cross to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

One of John's passions is Martial Arts. He has been studying martial arts for over 20 years. He currently holds a Black Belt in TKD, Brown Belt in Kempo and has many years of Boxing and Kickboxing training. He is State Licensed for Manager of Professional Kickboxing and Professional Mixed Martial Arts in the State on New Jersey.

 

Kat Souto

Skinny Genes was something I was not born with and maintaining my weight is something I will always have to "work" at.  A few years ago a friend and I started a journey to work out, lose weight, and get healthy!  We had reached our goals but realized that we would be doing this until we were old and grey.  Then we found Zumba!  The Zumba classes at my gym were so much fun that after a year I decided to get certified as an instructor. You don't have to be Ginger Rogers or Fred Astaire to join this party or enjoy Zumba...  I know I'm not.  And if you have dance experience, Great!  You will enjoy bringing your own flare and style to class and let loose and enjoy yourself. 

My background may not be in music or dance but I love all kinds of music. I am of Brazilian, Argentine, and Italian descent and can appreciate being able to teach a class with such diverse music.

If you have to exercise, you might as well have fun doing it! For me... there is no better way than ZUMBA!
