10 and Under Tennis

Monroe Sports Center is one of the first facilities in NJ to introduce 10 and Under Tennis governed by the USTA.  10 and Under Tennis using the QuickStart Tennis Play format takes a new and better approach to introducing kids to the game.  Balls are lower in compression; they bounce lower and don't move as fast so they are easier to hit.  This allows kids time to get to the ball and helps them develop optimal swing patterns.  Racquets are sized for small hands, and the courts are smaller and easier to cover.  All that equals more fun and less frustration, allowing children to start rallying and playing points immediately.

QuickStart 1 Tennis:  9-10am, 10-11am OR 11am-12pm

This program will introduce your child to the game of tennis in a fun and success oriented environment.  The primary focus will be on developing tennis motor skills through a variety of creative and entertaining tennis games and challenges.  QuickStart 1 shrinks the court to the size that the child can handle.  Special balls and smaller courts are used based on the child's age and level.  Children will be placed with similar age groups and abilities.

QuickStart 2 Tennis: 9-10am, 10-11am OR 11am-12pm

An exciting new play format for learning tennis designed to bring kids into the game by utilitzing specialized equipment, modified court dimensions and modified scoring.  This program is for those students that have graduated from our QuickStart 1 program or have prior tennis experience.  QuickStart 2 is designed for children to start playing points immediately.  Low compression balls will be utilized to provide success and correct repetitive stroke mechanics.  QuickStart 2 teaches the students the basic skills to play the game and to enjoy the experience of hitting balls over the net and playing points.

Price: $125 per week for 1 hour session

PAY BY JUNE 1:  $99 PER 1HR SESSION

Multiple Session Discount: $15/session discount for each additional session (per camper)

Single Day Price: $30 per hour
