Monroe Sports Center features eight championship hard court tennis courts. Our court surface is Laykold Cushion Plus — the same surface used at the US Open. We offer a family atmosphere for tennis players of all ages and levels (click on each option for more information):
Modern LightingOur sports center uses a new innovative fluorescent lighting system that creates brighter, more consistent, lighting across the courts. Monroe Sports Center is currently the only tennis club in NJ with this new lighting system. Viewing AreaExcellent viewability of all eight tennis courts from the 6,700 square foot lobby with tables and plenty of seating. There is a large flat screen TV, comfortable chairs, free wireless internet, water fountain and ice machine. Soda, sport drinks and snacks are available from vending machines. Pro ShopOur Pro Shop sells vibration dampeners and overgrips. We also offer racquet stringing. Racquet RentalMSC has racquets available for rent for either customers who forget to bring their racquet or for customers looking to take a few classes before making the financial committment to purchase a racquet. Racquet rentals are $1 for Juniors & $2 for Adults. Other AmenitiesThe sports center features ultra-modern air conditioning and heating with a state-of-the-art air filtering system. Locker rooms with showers.
