Monroe Sports Center Tennis Courts

Monroe Sports Center features five championship hard court tennis courts. The court surface is Laykold Cushion Plus — the same surface used at the US Open. There is additional space between and behind the tennis courts giving players extra room.

Video Recording

High tech video cameras on every court. Each of the five courts has one TPZ (tilt, pan and zoom) video camera mounted 20 feet on the wall.

Videos of all action (matches, lessons, clinics, camps, etc) can be easily downloaded onto DVDs. Monroe 33 will keep all video recordings in its computers for 7-10 days so everything is available to be downloaded onto a DVD up to about a week after the event.

Modern Lighting

Our sports center uses a new innovative fluorescent lighting system that creates brighter, more consistent, lighting across the courts. Monroe Sports Center is currently the only tennis club in NJ with this new lighting system.

Viewing Area

Excellent viewability of all five tennis courts from the 6,700 square foot lobby with tables and plenty of seating. There is a large flat screen TV, comfortable couches, free wireless internet, water fountain and ice machine. In addition, there is a food counter with coffee machine, microwave, and refrigerator.

Other Amenities

The sports center features ultra-modern air conditioning and heating with a state-of-the-art air filtering system. Locker rooms with towels are available.

Babysitting services are available in our large nursery with a trained babysitter.

Pro Shop

Our Pro Shop sells tennis clothes and equipment, and offers racquet stringing.
